Though the GBA version does not have the variety of game modes as this game does, Millennium has a huge list of upbeat music tracks, characters, randomized puzzles and a real "endless mode" for singleplayer or versus play. I recommend Bust-A-Move Millennium on the GBA if you have the option. The various modes keep my mind solving puzzles in new ways and keeps things interesting. 'Bust a Move' is a song by British-American rapper Young MC from his 1989 debut album, Stone Cold Rhymin.
I am happy with the game's overabundance of puzzles per mode (except in versus). Being able to recognize the same puzzles each playthrough versus a computer makes the game feel repetitive as a puzzle game (especially when combined with lackluster music). Additionally the puzzles provided for versus are not randomized as the patterns are pre-made except for the colors that make up their shapes. Music, being the biggest issue for me, is lacking with a handful of 5 or so tracks that are not happy or up-beat unlike the other games.īattling against the computer is challenging sometimes but being able to fire bubbles faster than the computer AI makes the verse computer mode a breeze.
However veterans will be surprised to find a lack of character choices, catchy music and randomness of battle puzzles. Find and beat this character in player vs.
